Gabby Koel threw the shot put 40-11 to defeat the field at the Falcon Winter Classic Track/Field meet in River Falls, Wis. Saturday. The senior's throw was her best effort this year and ranks second among all MIAC throwers. Miranda Jensen, a freshman, was fourth with a 33-10 3/4 effort and Jessie Juenemann, also a first year thrower, came in fifth (33-10).
